Neighborhood help for the oceans: Greenpeace raises awareness with a creative campaign

Greenpeace is promoting marine conservation with a cross-media campaign created by Spinas Civil Voices. Marine animals playfully ask for help—with proven success.

In collaboration with the agency Spinas Civil Voices, Greenpeace has launched a remarkable campaign that focuses on marine conservation. Under the slogan "Hello neighbors", marine animals appeal to us humans in short videos, ads and TV commercials to see them as good and indispensable neighbors. The message: our own survival is closely linked to the protection of the oceans, the largest ecosystem on earth.

Since the start of the campaign in November, people have encountered the humorous yet thought-provoking content on various channels - from social media and news platforms to traditional posters and letters. The aim is to raise awareness and generate petitions and donations for marine conservation.

The initial results speak for the success of the campaign: the creative approach motivates the target group to actively participate to an above-average extent. "It is impressive how many people are inspired by marine animals and are committed to protecting the oceans," explains Greenpeace.
