Ruf Lanz opens VBZ doors during Advent

The VBZ Christmas campaign, designed by Ruf Lanz, shows that anyone who opens the doors of a tram or bus can save themselves the trouble of looking for a parking spot.

In 2001, Ruf Lanz set the course for the VBZ campaign "Umsteigen lohnt sich". It positions streetcars and buses as a smart alternative to private motorized transport in the city of Zurich. "Not with missionary zeal, but in a surprising and entertaining way. That's why it is still well received by the public today," explains Silvia Behofsits, Head of Corporate Communications at VBZ.

The VBZ Christmas campaign for the year 2024 is designed to make a bold statement: If you open the streetcar and bus doors next Advent, you can forget about looking for a parking space and other traffic stress.
