Maybaum: Teamwork and commitment along the ViaBerna
Maybaum Film has produced a total of four new films for the «Berner Wanderwege» association, capturing the Bernese Oberland and its people at their best.
Together with Egger, Maybaum Film developed and realized the concept for the film series for the Berner Wanderwege association. In two of the four films, the main focus is on the work of the association's volunteers who take care of the maintenance and signposting along the more than 10,000 km of hiking trails. Their voluntary work forms the backbone of the association and contributes significantly to an unforgettable hiking experience in the tourist region.
It is precisely this hiking experience that is paid tribute to in another film. A couple set off on a hike from Spiez Bay to explore the Bernese hiking trails. The aim is to complete a stage of the famous ViaBerna - the picturesque long-distance hiking trail from the Jura to the Alps. A path through the vineyards heralds the first ascent and is soon replaced by waterfalls, mountain pastures and an unforgettable Alpine panorama as the film's main visual protagonist.
The film also provides informative insights into the Bernese hiking trails and the online planning tool, the "Hiking Planner". During the hike, there is useful information about the routes, places of interest and practical tips.
"We shot all the footage for the four films we produced in a crew of two within two days. Such a tough production requires dedicated shooting planning and perfect collaboration with the client and the agency. We were very grateful for how well and professionally the employees of Berner Wanderwege prepared for the shoot," says Benjamin Katulu, producer at Maybaum Film, summarizing the work on location.
The fourth film is a summary that combines the themes of the other three films and is broadcast at trade fairs and events with text inserts. All films are currently being distributed via the association's owned media channels and website.
