Bandara realizes AR campaign for Lindt in Canada
The Lindt Gold Bunny has arrived in Canada—and is currently sitting at Union Station in Toronto, for example. At least virtually. This augmented reality campaign was created by the Zurich-based agency Bandara.
In the run-up to Easter, two of Canada's most famous landmarks will become the backdrop for an augmented reality activation: posters with QR codes at Union Station in Toronto or Science World in Vancouver will take you to an AR experience that makes two Lindt Gold Bunnies appear on the landmarks. Anyone who takes a photo or video and tags Lindt Canada will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win vouchers for the Lindt online store.
The virtual golden bunnies can also be experienced throughout Canada: In the 48 Canadian Lindt stores and via social ads, you can access another AR experience that allows you to experience the bunnies wherever you are.
The concept for the campaign was developed in-house at Lindt Canada, while Zurich-based AR and VR agency Bandara is responsible for implementing the digital experience and video ads. The influencer campaign and local PR measures are being implemented by Edelman Canada.
