Ophthalmologist founds publishing house
Managing a foundation sustainably over the long term: no easy task. Stiftung. Foundation. *Das Stiftungsbuch* offers a solution.

More than a non-fiction book: informative and motivating
"Foundation. Foundation" may be a non-fiction book: but it's not dry reading. Richly illustrated and with numerous tips, the practical guide motivates people to get involved in humanitarian work. It also takes a look at Togo's (colonial) history, politics, religious diversity and culture. After all, development aid in a foreign country means, not least of all, getting to grips with it in depth. The writing cooperation with the former freelance journalist and theologian Valeria Sogne was helpful in this regard.
From ophthalmologist to publisher: diversely committed
Junghardt went one step further this year and founded a publishing house in Ennetbaden (Aargau) for his first work. This was done to give new authors a voice as well. Junghardt does not want to be "pigeonholed". His publishing house is open to manuscripts of all genres: "We want the best of everything," he sums up. That an ophthalmologist should found a publishing house may not seem obvious. However, Junghardt has always had a flair for adventure. He has already been involved in medical projects in India and Mexico. What's more, as the proud owner of two ophthalmology practices in Baden and as president of the foundation, entrepreneurship is in his blood. The publishing house consists of: Valeria Sogne, publishing assistant, as well as a well-coordinated editorial and graphics team. The publisher is excited about the pluralistic variety of book projects that may come.
