Bold and Amavita do the generics check

Very few people know exactly what distinguishes generic drugs from brand-name drugs. The Galenica healthcare network aims to change that with a campaign.

How is it that two tablets with the same active ingredient have two different prices? Generics make it possible: Once patent protection has expired, tried-and-tested drugs can also be produced by other pharmaceutical manufacturers. These are identical to the original in terms of effect and dose. The only thing that changes: The sales price.

This is communicated with immediate effect by the Amavita and Sun Store campaign. The two pharmacy formats are part of the Galenica network. Thanks to the generic check in their stores, Mr. and Mrs. Swiss can find out for which of their medicines there is a cheaper alternative.

The advertising material shows that everyone has a choice of medication. A playful analogy of two bowling-enthusiastic silver agers serves this purpose: One takes the expensive brand-name product. The other chooses the inexpensive no-name product. What happens next is shown in the TV spot and various online and offline measures in the campaign.
