Salvation Army: Media office now divided according to language regions
The media office of The Salvation Army Switzerland now has a two-person team organized by language region. While the previous sole media spokesperson will be responsible for media relations in French-speaking Switzerland, a new spokesperson will take on the role for German-speaking Switzerland.
The vacancy in the media office of The Salvation Army Switzerland could be closed in the last weeks. Christine Volet-Sterckx, who had held the position until then, was replaced by Simon Bucher on August 1, 2023. He is the contact person for media inquiries from German-speaking Switzerland, while Christine Volet-Sterckx concentrates on her tasks as Salvation Army spokesperson for French-speaking Switzerland.
Bucher holds a degree in corporate communications from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and has professional experience in corporate and marketing communications - both on the client and agency side. Most recently, Bucher was Senior Marketing Manager at Touring Club Schweiz (TCS).
