Hilti receives environmental rating gold
Hilti has received a Gold environmental rating from EcoVadis for the third time. The construction technology group was also recognized for its commitment to reducing its CO2 emissions.

EcoVadis awards its Gold rating to the top 5 percent of more than 100,000 rated companies worldwide across all industries. In addition to our goal of becoming more sustainable ourselves, our differentiated product and service offering helps our customers achieve their own sustainability goals."
EcoVadis evaluates companies according to a total of 21 criteria in the four overarching topic areas of environment, working conditions and human rights, fair business ethics and sustainable procurement. The assessment criteria are based on international sustainability standards such as the principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labor Organization, the standard of the Global Reporting Initiative, ISO 26000 and the so-called CERES principles (Certification of Environmental Standards).
