Swiss Music Awards: Partners extend cooperation
The Swiss Music Awards (SMA) are Switzerland's largest music awards. They aim to promote the national music scene and showcase its cultural diversity. The partners—CH Media, IFPI Switzerland, and the Press Play Association—have now extended their partnership ahead of schedule through 2025.
Even before the 16th presentation of Switzerland's biggest music award takes place on Wednesday, the organizer and broadcaster CH Media, the rights holder IFPI and the official distributor Verein Press Play have agreed to extend the strong cooperation in favor and in demand of the Swiss music scene ahead of schedule until 2025. This long-term commitment will allow the Swiss Music Awards to continue to develop, providing a platform for talented newcomers and celebrating the work of the most successful musicians.
The live broadcast of the Swiss Music Awards will take place on May 17, 2023, at 8:15 p.m. exclusively on 3+. The primetime TV show will be hosted by Marco Fritsche and Annina Frey live from the Bossard Arena in Zug.
