CMO of the Year Award: The nominees have been determined

The jury for the recently launched "CMO of the Year" Award has met and nominated six marketing executives. The winner will be announced on June 2. The nominees' performance was judged on the criteria of "success," "innovation," "customer centricity," and "sustainability (including diversity and meaningfulness).

The pre-selection of the candidates was carried out by the staff of the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insights at the University of St. Gallen. The Institute drew up a profile of each of the candidates who made it into this initial selection, which served as the basis for the jury's assessment of their performance.

The jurors then met to determine the nominees. After discussions and voting, seven favorites emerged.

Jury president Pam Hügli is pleased: "All nominees have in common that they have broken innovative ground in marketing in their industry or even created completely new categories."

The nominees of the first edition of the CMO of the Year are:

  • Sabrina Balestra, Planted
  • Joséphine Chamoulaud, Smile Insurance
  • Melanie Gabriel, Yokoy
  • Nicolas Hänny, Nikin
  • Léa Miggiano, Carvolution
  • Jens Plath, TWINT
  • Najoh Tita-Reid, Logitech

During the Award Night on June 2, 2022, the winner will be announced to the invited guests in the Papiersaal in Zurich and celebrated.
