Pink Ribbon: With movement against breast cancer

Regular exercise and a healthy diet can reduce the risk of breast cancer. That’s why Pink Ribbon Switzerland is now offering a loop route totaling 4,500 kilometers to encourage the public to be more active.

pink ribbonWith the loop route, Pink Ribbon Switzerland wants to remind the population how important regular exercise is. No matter what kind of sport and no matter how many kilometers are covered - everyone can participate in the Pink Ribbon loop route and set a sign of solidarity. This year, the project is supported by Pink Ribbon ambassadors such as Christa Rigozzi, Eliane Müller, Caroline Chevin, Jesse Ritch, Franco Marvulli and various others.

More than one hundred stage proposals

The loop route offers over one hundred suggested stages that can be completed on foot, by bicycle or rollerblades. Each individual is thus given the opportunity to make a contribution in their own personal context for even more awareness of the topic of breast cancer and to do something for their own preventive health care. On the website, the kilometers covered are added up at the same time and a pink ribbon symbolically fills up.

The action planning tool

Various search functions, display of tours with interactive elevation profile, printout of tour information as a PDF file, download of GPX files, mobile-optimized display - these are just some of the features that the website offers the user. Extensive comment functions for a dialogue-oriented presentation let the website grow into an active community platform. The loop route is part of the largest European outdoor platform "Outdooractive". Those who would like to get a picture for themselves will find here more information.
