To become more present: Switzerland Tourism reorganizes itself
The marketing organization Switzerland Tourism aims to prepare itself for the future—and is responding to new technologies and forms of communication with a comprehensive organizational restructuring. Above all, the goal is to significantly expand its presence in the markets. In marketing, the seasonal departments are also being restructured into a process-based organization.

There have been no major structural changes in the marketing organization for more than ten years, but an agile organization must constantly redefine itself. For this reason, the Executive Board and Executive Committee of Switzerland Tourism have decided on further organizational development. The goal is to be the world's best national tourism organization with the existing team.
In addition to a number of internal adjustments, this will affect the store organization, marketing, event organization, and digital management in particular. The stores will now each be managed by a Head of Stores West and a Head of Stores East. In addition, the market presence will be noticeably expanded with new antenna offices, and proximity to potential guests will be strengthened. Marketing is no longer organized by season, but by the classic marketing units "Campaigning," "(Partner) Content," "Media Planning," "Asset/Content Productions," and "Accomodation and Gastronomy. The various areas of event planning, coordination and organization will be combined in a new department. In addition, Digital Management will be more clearly structured and delineated, with a focus on digital analytics and a strengthened content team for MySwitzerland.
Switzerland Tourism will implement this further development in the coming months, involving the industry and partners wherever possible. Switzerland Tourism CEO Martin Nydegger says: "We are looking forward - together with our teams - to taking Switzerland Tourism and the whole of Swiss tourism marketing a big step further".
Switzerland Tourism communicates further details about the reorganization in this online available Presentation.
