Interpunkt realizes image film for the commercial school KV Aarau
The promotional video for the Aarau Vocational School showcases a welcoming educational institution that, despite its long tradition, keeps its teaching methods up to date. Interpunkt conceived and produced the project. The assignment also included an informational video on the school’s internal absence policy.
For the school year 2021/22, the commercial school KV Aarau was portrayed in its entirety by means of an image film. In close cooperation with the HKV Aarau, the Interpunkt agency from Suhr developed and realized the moving image project.
After an initial workshop with representatives of the commercial school, the agency created a rough concept of the image film and based on this created the detailed storyboard. The result is a 100-second image film that shows the world of the KV Aarau business school from the perspective of three students.
While a narrator's voice recounts facts and figures about the school, it is the three young people who create a tangible reference with realistic comments - a pinch of tongue-in-cheek included. Whenever the young people come into contact with school personnel, they are greeted with a warm "Grüezi." "In this way, the close, friendly and down-to-earth DNA of HKV Aarau was creatively integrated into the film," says principal Ozan Kaya.
The shooting was done within one day on location with a total of three actors*, 20 extras, a make-up artist, a speaker and a three-man Interpunkt crew. "It was great to hold a day of shooting with so many dedicated people despite Corona," Fabian Koch from Interpunkt looks back. Post-production and a revision round followed. The image film celebrated its premiere a few days ago at an information event to provide comprehensive information about the school and its wide range of courses.
At the same time, an informational film was produced about the in-house absence policy. These internal processes were also explained from the perspective of the three young people. This video is also intended for information events and should serve as a modern alternative to the PowerPoint presentations used up to now.
