"Bring Women Back To Work": Salesforce Launches Initiative

Salesforce is launching an initiative in Switzerland designed specifically to help women return to the workforce after maternity leave. The leading CRM provider, together with its partners, aims to offer mothers new opportunities through the «Bring Women Back to Work» program—while also training much-needed skilled workers.

The "Bring Women Back To Work" program aims to counteract this: it therefore stipulates that Salesforce's participating partners advertise vacancies specifically for women re-entering the workforce. This means that these jobs can be designed more flexibly and are intended to optimally reconcile family and career. Accenture is acting as the initiative's main sponsor, but Deloitte, EC4U, Namics, Nexell, Isobar or PwC - among others - have also pledged to contribute.

The candidates who receive said positions will participate in a one-year training program. This is based on Trailhead, Salesforce's free learning platform. They are also coached by mentors from the respective partner companies to eventually receive Salesforce certification and transition smoothly into their new role with the respective partner. The current target is 10 female candidates per quarter to be enrolled in this program.

"Sow now to reap later".

"We need to sow the seeds now in order to reap the rewards by 2025 at the latest," explains Blaise Roulet, Country Leader Switzerland at Salesforce. He continues: "Our Partner Sales Manager Vanessa Kammermann-Gentile is very committed and launched this initiative a few months ago. We wanted to develop a program that was a win-win situation for all of us and in line with our Salesforce values. The first partner to pledge their support was Accenture. They are now our executive sponsor for the program."
