Dortmund: Swiss live communication industry awarded

The BrandEx Award took place for the second time in 2020 and is the amalgamation of the former Famab Award, the BEA Award, the Famab New Talent Award and the INA Award. The creative award for successful live communication honors outstanding brand experiences.

The Swiss winners

From Switzerland, the following projects and agencies were awarded: From Aroma the project "MoMö - Schweizer Mosterei- und Brennereimuseum" in the category Best Thematic Exhibition, Bright Entertainment for the 150th anniversary event of Hch. Kündig & Cie. in the category Best Corporate Event and KFP Five Star Conference Service with the "Porsche Holding Konzerntagung 2018" in the category "Best Conference".

Case study: Live campaign Kündig & Cie

The Swiss live communications industry impressed in Dortmund. For example, with the creative staging of the company history of the Kündig company (picture above). The 150 years formed the thread running through the anniversary evening. At the center was company founder Rudolf Widmer, portrayed by actor Peter Hottinger.

With the help of a time machine, he visited his own self shortly after its founding in 1870. To his horror, he found that he wanted to emigrate and liquidate the company at that time. The story was told on screen and stage. Rudolf Widmer appeared in the film in a double role and also hosted the event in a virtuoso manner. He involved the audience and conducted interviews with various guests, first and foremost with today's owner family Weber.
