When it comes to social media, SRF really shone in May. Other players also felt the springtime buzz on Instagram and other platforms.

Almost 50 percent more interactions than in the previous month were achieved by SRF's social media channels in May. The social media department from Leutschenbach has thus moved up three places and is now in second place. Among other things, almost 350,000 additional Instagram interactions compared to April are responsible for the jump. However, SRF also performed strongly on the other ranking-relevant channels in May.

Other titles are also experiencing a kind of belated social media spring: Evening view gained 38 percent, but was unable to make up any ground. Watson increased interactions by 18 percent, View by 16 percent.

Out of nowhere, 3+ makes it back into the top 10. Reason: It's "Bachelorette" time again and the official Instagram page of the program is now part of the Swiss private broadcaster's interaction account.

The article that generated the most interaction in May, comes from SRF CultureA farmer who turned his back on livestock farming because he no longer wanted to take his newborn calf away from the dairy cows. Today, he and his family are vegan farmers. The article received over 70,000 interactions on Facebook.

The most successful posting in the month of May was FM1A man helps a sloth across the road and receives a grateful look at the end - that's all the internet community needs to be happy. To this day, the Post Likes in the six-digit range.

The Austrian start-up Storyclash records social interaction with media content. Every month, the social news ranking shows which media providers have performed well and which were the posts with the most interactions. The Advertising Week publishes the Swiss ranking exclusively.
