Revival: the Migros sales bus comes back
CAMPAIGN To mark the 75th anniversary of the Migros Cooperative Zurich, Frontwork created a Migros sales trolley.

Just like in Dutti's day: The Migros sales bus from Frontwork. In 1925, Gottlieb Duttweiler conquered the streets with it, and now it is celebrating its comeback: the legendary Migros sales trolley carries a touch of nostalgia with it on its return. For many people back then, the van was a meeting place with social significance. Children ran after the bus, old people held their chats there, and the sales staff still knew each customer personally - encounters from which deep friendships grew.In 2010, Frontwork made the original Migros sales bus ready for takeoff for the first time to offer open-air visitors added value. In the bus, festival-goers could buy everything important that was forgotten at home: from sleeping bags and toothpaste to condoms, sun umbrellas and umbrellas, apples, mustard or Guetzli. For the 75th anniversary of the Migros Zurich cooperative, Frontwork refurbished another vehicle. The renovation specialists took their cue from the design of the time, which has long since fallen into disuse, and faithfully recreated the bus using old layouts. Frontwork also lent a hand inside the bus, derusting the old grille baskets and replacing the FL lighting with modern LED tubes. Today, the cult bus presents itself freshly painted, newly foiled and ready for the road again. Another example of excellent cooperation between Frontwork, agency and customer.Customer: Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund ZurichAgency: 2communicate ag, Franziska Kumli, NeuendorfRealization: Frontwork AG, Manuel I.
