3D painting at Zurich main station
CAMPAIGN To mark the ongoing expansion of the global A380 route network, including from Europe, Emirates surprised commuters and passers-by at Zurich main station with a 3D painting of the famous Emirates A380 on-board lounge and bar.The 3D world premiere of Emirates was created by the Swiss artist Kesh with an eye for detail. First, fine lines were drawn to realistically depict the scale of the A380's on-board lounge. The painting was then filled with color using a water-soluble airbrush technique, which really brings out the 3D perspective. The artist spent a total of around 50 hours working on the Emirates painting, which offers 14 private suites in First Class, 76 flat-bed seats in Business Class and up to 429 comfortable seats in Economy Class. In First Class, passengers can enjoy two spacious spa showers. In all classes, passengers enjoy the award-winning in-flight entertainment system ice with more than 2,000 channels "on demand", free Wi-Fi and gourmet menus, while First Class and Business Class passengers also enjoy the in-flight lounge with bar as a popular meeting place above the clouds. Located at the rear of the A380 upper deck, it offers a variety of high-quality drinks as well as hot and cold snacks and canapés. There are also two comfortable sofas in the on-board lounge, which are also depicted in the 3D painting of Zurich main station. How the illusionistic trompe-l'œil drawing was created:
