At the worldwebforum, prizes were awarded for the best Swiss company presences on Facebook and Twitter. For the first time, in addition to the best Swiss company presence on Facebook, the best presence on Twitter was also awarded a prize. "In the ranking, it was important to us to achieve an objective presentation and evaluation of the individual presences in terms of their quantitative and qualitative characteristics" says Fabian Hediger, initiator of worldwebforum. The quantitative evaluation of the individual Facebook presences took place according to the criteria "Range", "Admin Activity" and "Community Response", while the qualitative evaluation was divided into the criteria "Swissness", "Design" and "Content". "The successful use of Twitter is fundamentally different from Facebook: minimalism vs. details, topicality vs. quality, and all that in 140 characters - a challenge that has to be mastered," says Hediger.
