Manor launches innovative digital out-of-home Christmas campaign
Children and adults have different perceptions, as Manor's new digital-out-of-home Christmas campaign shows.

As part of its Christmas campaign, the Swiss department store company is installing intelligent screens at Geneva, Lugano and Winterthur railroad stations. What can be seen on them depends entirely on the viewer's eye level - because adults will not experience the same scene as children.
Innovative mobile screens are used for the campaign. They show a large red door decorated for Christmas, with something mysterious hidden behind it. If an adult and a child walk towards the door, both will see different images. While the adult continues to see a red door, the fairytale world of the Christmas elves, already familiar from the Manor Christmas TV commercial, opens up to the child.
"Manor's aim is to inspire customers of all ages with the Christmas campaign. The digital out-of-home screens are an innovative tool for conveying emotions and showing adults how wonderful it is to see the world through children's eyes from time to time," says Sandra Kottenauer, Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at Manor, in a statement.
This extraordinary experience is possible thanks to a special technology: with the help of cameras and sensors, the screens analyze the age and size of passers-by and switch to a different visual world depending on the information provided.
The screens for the Digital out of Home Christmas campaign will be placed at train stations in Geneva (24 - 26.11.2018), Lugano (28.11 - 1.12.2018) and Winterthur (4.12 - 6.12.2018).
