This year's ADC Young Creatives Award briefing event took place yesterday in a tense atmosphere at the ADC Gallery. Philipp Skrabal (Chief Creative Officer at Farner and ADC Vice President) welcomed around 80 interested parties with a preview of what awaits the youngsters if they win: In addition to the coveted Young Creatives Awards, the winning teams in the Film, Outdoor and Cyber categories will travel to Cannes next year, where they will represent Switzerland at the "Young Lions Competition".

And Skrabal also had good news for the winning team in the Direct category: The trip will be covered by category sponsor PostMail, so that next year all four winning teams will be able to visit the Côte d'Azur.

This was followed by Rose Portmann (Communication Manager Swisscom) and Urs Krucker (Strategy & Client Services Director Y&R Group Switzerland) with exciting background information on the briefing and the strategy of this year's main sponsor Swisscom. Afterwards, as always, there was plenty of time for the young talents and partners to exchange ideas, ask questions and get some initial food for thought over drinks and hot dogs.

Missed the event? Go to Adc.ch you can find the briefing as well as all entry requirements in German and French. The closing date for entries for the ADC Young Creatives Award 2018 is October 23, 2018. Werbewoche is also a media partner of the Young Creative Awards in 2018 and will provide media coverage.
