Avantgarde Switzerland donates jerseys for the underdogs of the underdogs
Moved by the story of a grandmother who works as a football coach in Lima (Peru) in her spare time and cannot afford the jerseys for her protégés, Avantgarde Switzerland organized a fundraising campaign.

In the program "Weltspiegel" on Sunday, June 10, 2018, ARD reporter Matthias Ebert reported on 92-year-old football coach Maria Angélica Ramos from Lima, Peru (to the article).
She is probably the oldest football coach in the world, which is why everyone just calls her "La Vieja" (the old one). Every Friday, she takes the youngest talents in her neighbourhood under her wing, organizing matches and football tournaments.
However, as she receives hardly any support from the state, she lacks jerseys for "her" children, for example. La Vieja said: "It hurts me so much. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford them, but right now I don't have the money".
Moved by this sentence, the jersey donation idea was born without further ado. On avantgarde_switzerland (Instagram), you can select a jersey design that will then be produced and sent to Maria Angélica Ramos. Other designs of your own are very welcome, according to the press release.
The entire campaign can be followed and voted on Instagram under the hashtag #hoppperu: The design with the most likes wins.
