Swarm of drones
Time Magazine flew nearly 1,000 drones to create the cover of its latest issue.

The age of drones is here - whether you like the idea or not. Drones are here to stay. Drones will change society and, in addition to threatening things - such as data protection and privacy violations from the air - will also bring many positive developments. The use of drones in agriculture, for example, allows for much more soil and environmentally friendly cultivation. The potential uses of drones seem almost unlimited - there is literally still a lot of room for improvement.
Time magazine is dedicating its latest issue to the "Drone Age". Those responsible came up with a spectacular production for the cover: 958 shooting star drones from Intel were sent into the Californian sky to depict the Time cover. The swarm of drones formed a Time subject several hundred meters high, which in turn was photographed by another drone. (hae)
