Stefan Riedel hands over management of Starticket
Stefan Riedel will step down as CEO of Starticket at the end of May 2018. He is moving to Berlin and, effective June 1, 2018, will serve as Chief Consumer Officer, overseeing the consumer business at Tele Columbus, Germany’s third-largest cable network operator. Urs Hügli will take over as interim head of Starticket.
Stefan Riedel took over the management of Starticket in July 2016. In the past two years, among other things, the successful integration of the software company Ticketportal took place at Starticket under his leadership. As a result of the integration, Starticket further expanded its market position and can now also offer customized ticketing sales concepts for promoters' own sales in addition to the classic B2C business. In addition, Stefan Riedel and his team were able to further advance Starticket's growth course and acquire numerous new event customers. Urs Hügli will take over the management of Starticket ad interim. Information about Stefan Riedel's definitive successor at Starticket will be provided in due course. Urs Hügli's past positions include CEO of search.ch, Head of Classifieds Online at Tamedia, and long-standing CEO and founder of the real estate portal homegate.ch.
