Five media professionals from print, online, radio and TV honored
The 20th Aargau/Solothurn Media Prize goes to journalists Christof Ramser (Solothurner Zeitung), Simone Morger (AZ online) and Alex Moser (Radio SRF). Photographer Sandra Ardizzone (Aargauer Zeitung) and Fiona Endres (TV SRF) were also honored.

The awards, worth a total of CHF 15,000, were presented at a ceremony in Olten SO on Monday evening. This was announced by the Aargau/Solothurn Media Prize Association.
The jury, headed by jury president Hans Schneeberger and the expert jury heads Catherine Duttweiler (print), Emanuel Freudiger (photo), Marius Egger (online), Jürgen Sahli (radio) and Oliver Kuhn (TV), selected the winners from the 84 entries submitted.
In the division Print the winner is Christof Ramser, journalist, with his series "5 Party Asterisks", published in March 2017 in the Solothurn newspaper.
In the category Photo The expert jury chose the photo series "Frauenhaus Aargau Solothurn" by Sandra Ardizzone, AZ Aargauer Zeitung, published in the AZ Aargauer Zeitung.
The online prize went to Simone Morger, AZ Aargauer Zeitungfor the online article series "Lüt usem Aargau", published between May and December 2017 on the website of the AZ Aargauer Zeitung.
The media prize in the Radio was won by Alex Moser, Swiss Radio and Television SRF, with his report "Chabishornabfahrt", broadcast on December 18, 2017 in the program "Regionaljournal" on Radio SRF1.
In the category TV The jury chose the contribution by TV journalist Fiona Endres, with her report "Swiss Social Aid for the Kosovo Mafia", broadcast on June 7, 2017 on SRF's "Rundschau".
The Media Prize AG/SO is awarded by the companies based in the two cantons and by the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn. The prize is intended to promote journalistic quality in local and regional reporting. (hae/pd/SDA)
