Brussels has always been overshadowed by the major European travel capitals of London, Paris and Amsterdam. In contrast to its landmark-rich competitors, many tourists don't really know why they should visit the Belgian capital. The terrorist incidents have made the city even less popular. Yet the Belgians have a lot to offer. Not only beautiful old towns, fantastic beer and the best pomme frites in the world. But also warm, pleasant inhabitants who are happy to welcome visitors.

On behalf of the train operator Thalys, the Rosapark agency has turned the inhabitants of Brussels into the city's landmark - and created an impressive monument to them. For this purpose, a kind of photo booth was set up in the heart of Brussels, where passers-by could have themselves 3D-scanned within a few minutes. The results were projected onto a pedestal as rotating, five-metre-high holograms using state-of-the-art technology. The inscription read: "In Brussels, the inhabitants are the real monuments".
