A shark at the dentist and a snowman in a tanning bed—the new campaign by The Martin Agency for the travel portal Kayak.
"That's confident!" says one person, impressed. "But it's not Kayak-confident!" replies the other. There is a simple reason why the two Kayak commercials are immediately reminiscent of the much-celebrated, long-running Geico campaign: they come from the same agency. The Martin Agency seems to make no great effort to conceal the close relationship and communicates bluntly for Kayak in the Geico style. Kayak is a travel portal with which the prices of hundreds of other booking portals can be easily compared. (hae)
