Although the two Somedia daily newspapers, the *Bündner Tagblatt* and the *Südostschweiz*, are growing closer, they remain independent.
At the end of January, the Graubünden-based media company Somedia, which also owns Werbewoche, announced the merger of the editorial offices of Südostschweiz and Bündner Tagblatt announced (Werbewoche.ch reported). In the course of this planning work, the Board of Directors of Somedia modified this concept, according to the press release, writes Südostschweiz on Saturday.
From mid-April, the two newspapers will work more closely together editorially. However, the two editorial teams will remain separate and independent. This should ensure that the two titles remain clearly distinguishable, particularly in the regional section. (hae)
