Menu Plus
In France, when you buy a McDonald's menu, you get a whole season of your favorite series for free. DDB advertises the promotion.

The action "Le Menu Series" has it all - and not just in terms of calories: When purchasing a menu (Large), customers receive a complete season for free until April 8. Customers can choose from 50 series provided by the streaming provider Rakuten TV, which unlike Netflix & Co. does not require a contract. You only pay for what you watch. If you eat at McDonald's, you receive a code with which you can unlock the desired season of a series.
This is certainly an attractive offer, at least for customers who don't have a Netflix subscription but still enjoy watching series. And not for the calorie-conscious: if you want to watch the entire series "Breaking Bad" in one go, you have to eat a McDonald's meal every nine hours.
Rather an unrealistic scenario. Seasons, on the other hand, are consumed by many people without interruption. The reason: you can't and don't want to stop after just a few episodes. DDB Paris knows this too and packages the series dilemma in everyday situations. Sometimes it's better if you don't have to wait until next week. (hae)
