Sacha Batthyany moves from Tages-Anzeiger to NZZ am Sonntag
At the beginning of the year, Sacha Batthyany moved from the Tages-Anzeiger to the background section of the NZZ am Sonntag. He is thus returning to Falkenstrasse after almost ten years.

He is thus returning to the editorial office where he began his journalistic career: From 2005 to 2008, he worked as an editor for the NZZ on Sundaymost recently in the Society department. This was followed by almost ten years at the Tages-Anzeiger. Battyany was deputy editor-in-chief of the Magazinefor which he still writes as a reporter today. Since 2015, he has been the USA correspondent for the Tages-Anzeiger and the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
With his family story "Was hat das mit mir zu tun?", which was nominated for the Swiss Book Prize, he also appeared as an author in 2016. In addition to his journalistic work, the sociology graduate works as a lecturer in creative writing at the MAZ School of Journalism in Lucerne. "I am very much looking forward to working with Sacha Batthyany, who will complement an already outstanding team," says Luzi Bernet, who has been Editor-in-Chief of NZZ am Sonntag since this week.
