Baked goods with a compelling presentation: The trailer for the TV show «The Great British Bake Off» is fantastic.
We have known since the Paralympics trailer at the latest that the British broadcaster Channel 4 spares no effort when it comes to staging its own program as lovingly and impressively as possible. "Superhumans", which has since won awards at various creative festivals.
What the directing duo Michael "Mikey" Please and Dan Ojari (known as Parabella) pulled out of the oven in collaboration with stop-motion animators, baking artists and other experts for the show "The Great British Bake Off" also tastes good at first sight. The baked goods were not animated on a computer, but creatively handcrafted. Partly with sophisticated machines and constructions, which breathed life into the doughy protagonists. To see in the Instagram-posted Test reel from Mikey Please. Sugar! (hae)
