Kosmos, a new venue for culture and dining, is opening its doors in Zurich. Studio Roth&Maerchy is responsible for the concept and design of the overall visual identity.

Kosmos combines a stage, book salon, cinema, bistro, and a stylish bar and club into a new whole, a lively, cosmopolitan meeting place. For example, a reading by Arundhati Roy and the debate series Kosmopolitics are planned for this fall, with hosts such as Hochparterre or Project R.

In order to give visual support to the diversity in the cosmos, Studio Roth&Maerchy developed a branding that runs through all communication media of the house - from menu cards to animations to signaling and website. The branding convinces through clarity and simplicity and unites the diverse demands of the house under one brand with a high recognition value. The twisted "M", for example, in reference to the Greek letter sigma, stands for the sum of all things and for the cosmos of all people.

On Saturday, September 2, Kosmos invites the public to the first journey of discovery. The program of the whole opening weekend, as well as further information can be found on Cosmos.ch.
