Head of 20 Minuten Basel goes to Telebasel
Adrian Jäggi is to become Telebasel's new Head of Online. In the role, he manages eight employees and supports the TV station in further expanding its regional news portal. As of Dec. 1, Jäggi will lead the redesigned online editorial team and drive the changes to the newsroom.

"It excites me to be able to develop something, to bring the expanded and convergent digital editorial team at Telebasel to even greater success," says Adrian Jäggi, who headed the Basel area for 20 Minuten in both print and online for 16 years. At his new place of work, the digital professional can expect the consistent alignment of Telebasel's regional online portal to become the leading news and service portal in the region. "Experienced, responsible new employees come to Telebasel because they appreciate the synergies of online and TV. Moving pictures are gold, forged is digital," says Karin Müller Editor-in-Chief at Telebasel. Further expansion steps are planned for Telebasel.ch and all channels.
The signs are good. In the month of July, Telebasel increased its TV reach by 30 percent to 90,000 viewers. Above all, the recordings of Basel Tattoo 2016 and 2017, the Wenkenhof Talks or the documentary about Ernst Beyeler are responsible for this gain in reach.
