Decibel and deciliter
The Danish agency CP+B’s campaign for Tuborg: If you protect your ears, you’ll drink less—and party longer.

The festival season in Switzerland is as good as over. Once again, many livers are likely to have been put to the test. The constant partying tempts many visitors to consume a lot of alcohol - and the bill usually arrives the next morning. And if things go badly, in the medium and long term too.
Like Heineken ("Drink responsibly") and many other beer and spirits producers, the Danish festival sponsor Tuborg is also committed to the responsible use of alcohol. For image reasons. And perhaps also because good-humored party guests are better brand ambassadors than drunken corpses.
One reason for increased consumption at parties, concerts or festivals: the loud music encourages people to drink more quickly. The CP+B agency provides a remedy: earplugs that look like beer glasses in transport cartons.
The cardboard containers are used at events with beer stands to transport the largest possible quantity per person. If you've already traveled a long way and stood in line, you tend to fill them up straight away - "they'll get away somehow". Or, if necessary, you drink them yourself. If the music is loud enough, even before they're lukewarm. (hae)
