Fake it 'til you make it

People who've traveled a lot are more successful on Tinder. Wieden+Kennedy and Delta Air Lines are helping those who stayed home catch up.

On Tinder, seconds often decide: wow or nay, left or right. Anyone who has traveled far and wide and presents themselves as a cosmopolitan globetrotter obviously has a better chance of being swiped to the right. One of the reasons for this is that many young people (want to) travel and want a partner who shares this passion.

Of course, Delta Air Lines is also interested in getting young people to travel more so they can get their vacation selfies. But until then, the airline is working with Wieden+Kennedy to help: In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, an entire building has become a fake selfie backdrop. Nine destinations are available as a backdrop - and are only a few steps away from each other: Great Britain, Italy, France, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Mexico and California.

"Until you take the trip, we'll help you fake the trip", promises Delta and gives tips for a successful dating photo all over the #Deltadatingwall. No duckfaces, for example - and if you have a puppy, make sure it's in the photo! (hae)
