Starbucks writes customers' first names not only on their coffee cups but also on their receipts. Usually. Unless you're wearing a Trump T-shirt and order a Green Iced Tea from the wrong employee in Dilworth, a neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This happened to customer Kayla Hart, who found the phrase «Build a Wall» on her receipt instead of her name. Outraged, the offended customer contacted Fox46 Charlotte, a network with close ties to Trump, which reported on the incident with equal outrage:

«I think it's really sad that I can't wear a T-shirt featuring our president without immediately being mocked for it,» Hart is quoted as saying by the TV station. She was reportedly laughed at as soon as she entered the store.

It’s understandable that Starbucks—even though the chain has little control over the behavior of individual employees—has found itself in the crosshairs of many Trump supporters because of this incident. And it’s expressing remorse accordingly: «We failed to meet one of our customers» expectations. We have apologized and are working with her to set things right,” Starbucks said. Or, to put it in Trump’s words: Make Starbucks great again!” (hae)
