Corpmedia implements social media campaign for Caritas Switzerland
Corpmedia produced the films for the current "Child refugees" campaign on behalf of Caritas Switzerland and advises on storytelling on digital channels. The films are part of the digital campaign "#child refugees" - they are intended to help draw attention to the obvious abuses in the treatment of child refugees in Switzerland.

The number of child refugees in Switzerland has risen sharply in recent years. While a few hundred unaccompanied minors applied for asylum in Switzerland until 2014, the number rose to over 2,700 in 2015. Caritas Switzerland will therefore be focusing on this topic over the coming months. The aim is to raise political awareness and understanding of education as the foundation of all social integration and the basis for an independent and autonomous life.
The five films made by Corpmedia portray six child refugees - all of whom fled to Switzerland unaccompanied. In their statements, the six protagonists express their very personal wishes for the future. In addition, five mentors show that successful integration in Switzerland also depends on the opportunities we give refugees. The mentors were given these opportunities in their own childhood after fleeing and now stand up for the rights of child refugees.
The films form the basis of the digital campaign #child Refugees on Caritas Switzerland's social platforms, which complements the political campaign. On film, very close-ups of the protagonists create emotional closeness. The shots show the young people enjoying their favorite activities in their current environment at the House of Youth, which Caritas Switzerland runs in Immensee on behalf of the Canton of Schwyz. The young people's statements make it clear that their dreams are the same as those of Swiss young people - and that they all deserve the same opportunities.
