With the Sonect app, you can withdraw cash - and have it delivered to you
With the new Sonect app, you can withdraw cash free of charge - whether at a kiosk, pharmacy or bakery. But that's not all: the 20er Nötli is also delivered directly to your home.

A few weeks ago, the young FinTech start-up Sonect successfully completed its first financing round. It includes prominent investors such as PostFinance and Sictic. The company is now launching its app and wants to make it easier for Swiss people to withdraw cash. Soon it will be possible to withdraw cash everywhere - at the bakery, the kiosk around the corner and numerous other participating retailers. And all at no cost to the customer.
In future, cash will even be delivered to your home. If you order your favorite meal from the delivery service Smood.ch, for example, the courier will also bring cash to your door on request. This service will be available from May 17, when the new twenty-franc note is launched.
Retailers can thus offer their customers an additional service and increase customer frequency in their store. Sonect is a geographically based platform that brings people who want to withdraw cash together with those who want to get rid of their cash - typically stores.
Cashless payment is in, but cash is currently the most popular payment method in Switzerland at over 60 percent.
