Stone Age
With the help of the BETC Paris agency, the Flac Anticorrida organization wants to put an end to the unspeakable bullfight.
Bullfights seem like a rotten relic from a fortunately bygone era: People enjoy watching a living creature being tortured to death. The French organization Flac (Federation of Leagues Against Corridas) wants to ban the bloody spectacle from its own country. In the south of France, in addition to the bloodless bullfighting variant "Course Camarguaise", which is based on skill, the classic type known from Spain is also practiced. Although, of course, far less frequently than on the Iberian peninsula.
This is why the campaign implemented by BETC Paris is generally directed against the bloody variety, no matter where it is practiced. Although the commercial does without repulsive and disturbing original images, thanks to CGI it is still sufficiently reminiscent of the brutality of the real slaughter. It is a reminder of the era in which bullfighting belongs. The impressive clip produced by Unit Image has already been viewed by six and a half million people on Facebook after just five days. Let's hope that there were also a few teachable people among them. (hae)
