André Küttel new Head of Marketing and Sales at the Swiss Museum of Transport

The Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne has a new Head of Marketing and Sales. André Küttel is a member of the Executive Board and took up his position on April 1, 2017 with an assignment abroad.

André Küttel studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen, specializing in tourism and transport management. As Marketing Director of Bergbahnen Titlis for many years and CEO of 7×7 Fahrdienste, the largest cab dispatch center in German-speaking Switzerland, he has acquired excellent knowledge of the tourism and transport sector, according to the press release.

At the Swiss Museum of Transport, he will focus on developing group business. "Switzerland's most-visited museum has great visitor potential for tourist groups from Asia and the USA," says Küttel. His international knowledge in the sale of tourism services will be of great benefit to him. He has already spent his first ten working days on a promotional tour with Switzerland Tourism in the USA and Canada and is now starting this week in the Lucerne office.

The 54-year-old tourism expert grew up in central Switzerland and lives in the canton of Zug. He speaks five languages and has a basic knowledge of Chinese. His leisure activities include water sports, skiing, mountain biking and dancing. He also enjoys attending cultural events. "I love the leisure industry," says André Küttel, who is a passionate traveler himself.
