Blowing instead of coughing

Once again, a clever poster is encouraging people not to smoke. This time in London.

In Stockholm a few months ago, the Akestam Holst agency put up a poster that coughed at passers-by who were smoking (Werbewoche.ch reported). As smoking not only causes coughing, but also cancer if you're unlucky, Cancer Research UK is now reminding people via a Clear Channel poster that it might not be a bad idea to think twice about smoking cigarettes.

The London agency Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO - "UK's most creative agency" according to its website - put up an interactive poster in the name of cancer research that tested the lungs of passers-by. The longer they blew, the more text became visible. Fun and games with the reminder finger. You can certainly kill the waiting time at the bus station in a less pedagogically valuable way... with a cigarette, for example. (hae)
