Ringier Axel Springer Media buys Baltic job portal
Ringier Axel Springer Media is expanding its classifieds business into Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The Swiss-German joint venture has acquired the job portal operator CV Keskus from the HeadHunter Group in its entirety.
Ringier Axel Springer Media did not provide details of the purchase price in Wednesday's announcement. CV Keskus owns the job ad portals Cvkeskus.ee in Estonia, Cvmarket.lv in Latvia and Cvmarket.lt in Lithuania. Each month, the job advertising company reportedly receives over 1.8 million visitors and publishes over 6,000 job listings. The boss remains Povilas Kytra, who has been with the company for ten years. Ringier Axel Springer Media, based in Zurich, combines the activities of the two media groups in Central and Eastern Europe. (SDA)
