Ostschweiz am Sonntag strengthens regional section, Thurgau gets its own edition
The NZZ regional media are revising their Sunday titles. Politics, business and the "Leben" bundle will be given more space with immediate effect. Regional reporting will be merged into one newspaper bundle. The canton of Thurgau will now also have its own edition.

The NZZ regional media are relaunching Ostschweiz am Sonntag and Zentralschweiz am Sonntag. Coverage of the region will be concentrated in a separate bundle in both newspapers. From March 19, the papers will appear with revised and rearranged sections and columns. Politics and business will be given greater weight. In the "Leben" section, there will be even more reading material on the topics of cuisine, fashion, travel and society.
Ostschweiz am Sonntag now also appears in an edition for Thurgau with news, interviews, commentaries and background information from the canton. "The regional anchoring is our great strength. By dedicating a separate edition to Thurgau, our Sunday title will be even more attractive for the loyal readership in this canton," explains Pascal Hollenstein, Head of Journalism at NZZ Regional Media, in a statement on Friday.
All subscribers to the Thurgauer Zeitung will now receive Ostschweiz am Sonntag in the Thurgau edition. The Zug edition of Zentralschweiz am Sonntag will continue.
