Hijacked advertising space
And they were gone: McCann used virtual reality to place objects on the side of the road in Peru - in front of everyone else's posters.

As Pippi Longstocking once sang? "I make the world for myself, widewide as I please." Virtual reality has long made this possible. For the Sodimac company, McCann quickly took over the coveted advertising space along the busiest highway in Peru and virtually placed oversized items from the household goods retailer's range on the roadside. A nice touch in front of the huge billboards of the other advertisers.
The cardboards for smartphones were handed out to passengers in cars stuck in traffic jams - wherever they had the time and inclination to pass the time and deal with the necessary installation steps. The result - at least in the casemovie - looks promising and entertaining. As always: you have to be able to try it out. (hae)
