My Roti is an indie restaurant in Muscat, Oman. The food served at My Roti is characterized by a fusion of ingredients from around the world with the nostalgic flavours of India. The philosophy behind My Roti: The balance of the right ingredients in cooking is what makes good indie food. Havas Worldwide Oman has taken this approach and translated it into a campaign featuring legendary personalities. "Ingredients" such as experience, upbringing and influences have made Barack Obama, Charlin Chaplin and Steve Jobs the people, the indie characters, that they are or were. The campaign idea is rounded off by its tasteful realization: the portraits of the famous men were "drawn" with various Indian spices. (nod)
