Salomé Ramseier new in the Harbourclub board of directors

At its last meeting, the board of the Harbourclub appointed Salomé Ramseier, Head of Communications and Public Affairs Holcim Switzerland, to the board. She will join the board with immediate effect. Her final election will be decided at the next Harbourclub General Meeting in spring 2017.

She succeeds Thomas Truttmann, who started as the new Managing Director of Compass Group as of February 20, 2017. Dominique Morel, President Harbourclub, in a statement: "With Salomé Ramseier we were able to win a proven, international communications expert for the board. Her many years of experience on both the corporate and agency side, such as her five years working for the Swiss Embassy in Washington, will give us valuable impetus for the further development of the club."

Thus, the board of the Harbour Club is newly composed as follows:
Dominique Morel, KPMG (Chairman); Myriam Käser, NZZ; Hans-Peter Nehmer, Allianz; Salomé Ramseier, Holcim; Matthias Schneider, Coca-Cola and Roman Sidler, Geberit.

Salomé Ramseier has been Head of Communications and Public Affairs for the Central Europe West region at Holcim Switzerland since November 2015. Prior to that, she worked for five years as Head of Communications at the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C. From 2008 to 2010, she was Managing Partner at Furrerhugi. From 1999 to 2008, she held various positions for BKW in Bern, most recently as Head of Corporate Communications.

Salomé Ramseier holds a teaching license from the Canton of Bern, a lic.rer.pol. degree from the University of Bern, is a federally certified PR consultant and holds a Certificate in Social Media Management from Georgetown University in Washington D.C..
