Ringier also tests news videos from SRF until the end of March
Following in the footsteps of the NZZ and SDA, Ringier is also launching a collaboration with SRG in the area of daily news videos: As part of a trial phase running through the end of March, Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) will provide Ringier with up to eight news videos per day.
These are videos on current domestic and international topics, as Ringier announced on Thursday. The videos are currently being used on Blick.ch, Blickamabend.ch, Energy.ch and the corresponding social media channels. The Blick Group already produces its own videos, which are a success for the company, according to the press release.
Ringier hopes that the collaboration with SRG will lead to a quantitative enhancement of its offering, according to the statement. In addition to Ringier, SRF has also been providing daily news videos to NZZ Medien and Schweizerische Depeschenagentur (SDA) since the end of the year and the beginning of February respectively. The tests will also run until the end of March.
