Cough
In Sweden, a poster featuring a person coughing encourages people to quit smoking.

Finally, another interactive poster that interacts with the environment. The installation set up in Stockholm coughs when a smoker walks past. And shows passers-by who are willing to give up smoking products that are intended to accompany and facilitate quitting. They can be purchased at Apotek Hjärtat - the company that commissioned the eye-catching advertising medium.
The campaign was created by Akestam Holst. The agency already caused a worldwide sensation in 2014 with the waving hair in the subway station (Werbewoche.ch reported) and, together with Clear Channel, is now relying on the same basic principle: sensors detect environmental influences and trigger a corresponding reaction on the screen. Will this really work reliably? We would like to try it out. So maybe it's better to stop smoking tomorrow. (hae)
