Press agency Dukas takes over operational business from Prisma
Merger in the Swiss picture market: Dukas Press Agency has been managing the operational business of Prisma Bildagentur since the beginning of the year.
With this acquisition, Dukas is expanding its position as one of the leading image providers in the Swiss market, the company wrote in a press release on Thursday. The Swiss picture agency Prisma is an established name with a long tradition for companies, corporate, graphic, web design, advertising agencies and media. Customers of both image providers will benefit from more comprehensive image offerings and services under one roof, a broad range of expertise and complementary offerings for the creative sector and for editorial use.
The established name Prisma, with its internationally networked image database Prismaonline.ch containing over 40 million photos, will be continued as a separate brand. After more than 30 years in the image business, Manuela Brosi and Stefan Wittwer, the founders of Prisma, have decided to take a step back. The two previous owners of Prisma will continue to contribute their many years of experience.
