"Energy worlds" in a nutshell

C-Factor has transformed the «Energiewelten» expert dossier published by the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE) into an easy-to-understand communication platform featuring videos, infographics, and a wide variety of other content.

The future of energy is uncertain. Is the hotly debated Energy Strategy 2050 coming? Or not after all? What is happening globally in terms of climate policy? With its new "Energy Worlds" model, the VSE shows the big picture of Switzerland's energy future. Four extreme scenarios open the door to future developments. They are called: Trust World, Local World, Smart World and Trade World and serve as a basis for political and entrepreneurial decisions.

Chairs as a metaphor for different ways of thinking

C-Factor supported the VSE with this central strategy project in two phases: In spring 2016, C-Factor worked with Eclipse Studios to develop a key visual and various communication tools to position and promote the project within the association. In the fall, C-Factor got to the heart of the four energy worlds with intuitively understandable names, short videos and other measures. VSE Director Michael Frank uses various chair types to explain the essence of each energy world. The chairs serve as a metaphor for different mindsets.
